Is that cemetery kinda close to the Greyhound bus station in Tampa?

My girlfriend is from St. Pete, and we always take the Greyhound out of Tampa back up here to Tallahassee. Every time we go, I notice the cemetery and I always think about how neat it would be to go check it out.

You mean the one downtown? If so, the one you're thinking of is Oaklawn Cemetery, and it is really neat - it was founded in the mid-1800s. The only person buried there that isn't from that era was the caretaker who requested to be buried there. Otherwise it's all people from the 1800s - early 1900s.

Around Halloween, the local historical society gives a 'cemetery walk', by historian and actress Maureen Patrick, as 'Miss Prudence Flipwhistle' who died in 1899. She dresses in full Victorian mourning attire and tells you about the cemetery's residents. It's great! I'll post something about it when I find out when they're having it :)
